Our Story
Lily Elian Meubles et Decoration was founded by Lily Elian.
Born with a creative artistic mind, Lily sold all her paintings during her first vernissage in Aleppo Syria in 1960.
She started to work as an interior designer in the early 70s when she moved to Lebanon, gaining the trust of her customers with her passion for design and aesthetic vision. Delivery on time and perfection were her mottos; always putting herself in her customers’ shoes.
In the mid seventies, she became a partner in Comfortium ,a leader furniture store at that time ,one of the first if not the only to import renowned brands like Willy Rizzo, Angolometallarte, Renato Zevi, Gaetano Missaglia,Alain Delon (brands that are sought after even nowadays by connoisseurs); not to forget the Italian artisans like Banci, Belloni, Chelini, Galimberti, Savio Firmino….
Even the breakout of the war in 1975 did not hinder her enthusiasm and she kept on importing furniture in quantities enabling her to furnish whole houses on the spot; thus the success.
In 2003, she set up a new company, opening a 3000 sq meters showroom in Verdun -Beirut under her name “Lily Elian Meubles et Decoration”.
